The joint StyleU Lab at the University of Utah, led by Dr. Yin Yang (Utah), Dr. Huamin Wang (Style3D), Dr. Cem Yuksel (Utah), and Dr. Chenfanfu Jiang (UCLA), along with their collaborative teams, is actively in search of a dedicated postdoctoral research associate. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage in pioneering research within the realm of computer graphics and animation. The position starts on May 1st, 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter. It is initially for two years, and can be renewed for more years, depending on research performance and funding availability.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in computer science, mathematical sciences, or a closely related field.
- Experience in the field of computer graphics and animation is required, preferably in physics-based
simulations and AI-based 3D content generation.
- Experience in numerical optimization and/or deep learning is highly encouraged.
- Strong programming experience (e.g., C/C++, CUDA, matlab).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
